You are allowed to post pictures in your stories!
To add a story to the site, all you need to do is go to your account info there should be a link to add a new story. You can modify your settings in the account as well.
I sugest that you leave the Use tinyMCE WYSWYG editor checked unless you want to add your stories and such with HTML codes. This allows you to simply add pictures and such to your stories with out the hassels of HTML. You can always uncheck it.
